Anchor Down is the perfect holiday house to bring your family **NOTE: Sheets/ Towels not included, located directly opposite the creek and only a 10 minute walk to the beach. Bring your kayak and paddle board and go exploring.

Only 100 metres and you can cross the bridge to the caravan park and into the heart of the town.

Very comfortable lounge with a huge flat screen television, sit back, relax and enjoy your favourite game of football or bring along your favourite movie and watch it on the DVD player.

Great kitchen with everything you need to create your family meal, there is even a dishwasher. The kitchen/dining area is open plan, dining area with a ceiling fan. Spill from the dining area onto the outside covered area, sharea BBQ with friends while you enjoy watching the sun glistening on the creek.

Bedrooms are located upstairs, main with a queen bed and trundle, a ceiling fan for those warmer evenings. Spill from this bedroom onto the balcony, a lovely view of the creek, a quiet spot to relax and enjoy a good book. Second bedroom has a double bed and a single bed, the third bedroom has 2 single beds and a small television.

Bathroom has a separate bath and shower. One toilet located downstairs with a second upstairs.

Please note this property is Pet Friendly , however your furry friends must remain outdoors.
Under no circumstances are you furry friends allowed inside.

Additionally, guests are expected to provide their own laundry detergent, dish soap, personal soap, and toilet paper among other personal necessities.

HAT HEAD

Hat Head is the Ideal fishing village surrounded by Hat Head National Park and the best in pristine & unspoiled beaches. The beaches, sand dunes, rain forest and wetlands offer an ideal backdrop for bush walking and relaxing.

Launch your trailer boat from the creek side ramp with adjacent fish cleaning facilities also available- all only, a minute's drive, just past the Bowling Club.

There are a lot of walking tracks to choose from and visitors can also enjoy bird watching. Birdwatchers can look for black swans and spoonbills in the parks wetlands, hawks and eagles soaring above beach cliffs and shorebirds like curlews and plovers around the beach.

Hat Head National Park is a great place to go whale watching during the annual whale migration which takes place from June to November.

  On our arrival we found the property to be very clean and tidy, only a bit of dust here and there. The kitchen was extremely clean except for a bit of grime under the kithen sink. The washing machine was a bit tempremental, throwing up an error message on occasion. The furnishings were very clean and in good condition. Only a couple of broken kitchen table chairs (but we didn't need them. The outdoor metal chairs are rusting and leaving rust powder on the concrete but that's what you get near the beach. The bedrooms where very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and well set out. It was great to also have access to a vaccume cleaner and other brooms/mop for cleaning were needed as I like to stay in a clean environment. The fridge was in excellent working condition and the oven and cook top worked easily. However the exhaust fan in the range hood is not working, neither is the bathroom fan.
