Walk in the door and you are instantly in holiday mode.  This holiday home features beautifully restored polished timber floors and a stunning stone kitchen with waterfall edges.  European appliances, gas cook top and high 2.8m ceilings with an original featured cornice.

A lovely, large open plan air conditioned living area to relax in featuring gorgeous blue gum timber beams.

All three bedrooms are spacious with ceiling fans and are positioned well away from the heart of the house.  Bedding consists of 2 queen and 1 trio. We don't supply linen, all the beds have mattress protector, pillow case, pillow, quilt and quilt cover. You will need to bring your own sheets and towels, bath mat, tea towels You will also need to bring your own washing powder, kitchen detergent, rubbish bags, soap and toilet paper, etc.

The main bathroom has a shower over the bath and a toilet.  There is an extra shower and toilet in the laundry.

Spotted gum hardwood deck with large gas BBQ and insulated roof overlooks backyard perfect for the kids and dog.

Please note this property is Pet Friendly , however your furry friends must remain outdoors.
Under no circumstances are you furry friends allowed inside.

There is an outdoor shower in the backyard to rinse under after the beach.

Drive through single garage.

Ideally positioned with a north/south orientation only 300 metres to the lush green fairways of the local 18 hole golf course and Country Club.  Stroll to the magical waters of Trial Bay and the historical Trial Bay Gaol or the centre of town.

While we ensure that all beds are equipped with mattress protectors, pillows, pillowcases, quilts, and quilt covers, we kindly ask guests to bring their own sheets, towels, bath mats, and tea towels. Additionally, guests are expected to provide their own laundry detergent, dish soap, personal soap, and toilet paper among other personal necessities.

    Love the town, love the house, love the location.

    The construction site next door was sub ideal. Site radio blaring all day, power tools screeching and buzzing. I get it - out of your control. Just took a bit away from the experience. Especially after the last couple of peaceful stays.

    Mozzies were in plague proportions. We couldn't spend 5 minutes outside without being swarmed even when coated with spray. Again - totally out of your control. Thanks christ we weren't camping.

    Back deck is rotting and falling apart. Bit of a safety hazard, especially with kids. Front deck starting to go too.

    Overall we love the house and had a great holiday. Just responding honestly. I'm sure we will be back regardless.

    The house was way better that expected and was very comfortable for my family and I. All the facilities we need and more. Especially like the front and rear deck and having a bath for our small children was a huge bonus.

    Open plan living room and lounge room created a very homely feel and was tastefully decorated. Excellent location for us, close to the beach, but far enough away from hussle of town centre.

    Will certainly be booking again next year.

    We come every year to Sth West Rocks to catch up with family, stay in different places as we like the variety available.
    Beachcomber was very comfortable, close to beach access & the parks, we had a family day at Little Bay.
    The only change I would make to the property is single bunks instead of the trio bed, sharing with a grandchild is not easy!

    This property is perfectly located for a dog friendly beach holiday. The backyard was perfect for our two dogs and the house is a short walk over the road and up the walking track to the designated off-leash beach.
    The house itself is a relaxed and spacious place, however it needs a few maintenance issues fixed. The mattresses on all four beds desperately need replacing, the cooktop range hood is not working (this is a major health issue with a gas cooktop), and the dishwasher was not working during our stay. We would be more than happy to stay in this property again if these issues are resolved.
